Fall Without Color

Usually this time of year my photos are all about earthy natural fall leaves and their color. I've been noticing on my drives that more and more trees are changing into firey blossoms of color. We plan on celebrating fall properly with a trip to Salem, MA this weekend. But until then I leave you with some black and white of the children. They are losing teeth and growing inches faster than the seasons are changing.

Our Everyday

The end of summer vacation is right around the corner. School uniform shopping, time to start going to bed early, and no more underwear gang. One last month. 

Inspired Photography

Once a day, I take a picture. Just a moment - unscripted, unedited, and real. I was very inspired by Alain Laboile. His La famille collection is so free. Really capturing those everyday memories you wish you could hold forever. 

While often I try to set up a photo, cropping out the mess of the desk on the right or the lone sock that lays on the floor, these are uncropped. They are real moments in my real everyday life.

Yes I finally upgraded my old old phone to an IPhone! I've been instagraming away - if you want you can follow me here. Hope everyone is enjoying the outdoors, late summer nights, and school ending as much as we are.

2012 in Photos

As the year is coming to a close, I look back at my photos. My 365 project (a photo a day for a full year) reflects my year pretty perfectly. Even though it ended with 251 photos - I still feel great that I took that many. Here is to a new year full of hope, wonder, and new possibilities! Happy New Year!!!

A Year In Pictures

What a year!! 2011 came in with a scare but I'm so happy it's ending on a happy note. This New Year's eve will be the first one in a very long time that I get to give the hubby a New Years Kiss.
I can't thank all of you enough for the lovely comments throughout the year. This little blog has become something bigger than I could have imagined! Here is to a new year full of hope, wishes, and a magical start :)
