Book A Month Giveaway

Aries would like to say something.......
"BOOK!"

One of my daughters very first words was book. Often times we will check up on her at night and she will be there surrounded by books fast asleep. She loves to read and so does everyone in our house. We each like different types of  books.

So to celebrate back to school time and the love of reading I have decided to host a book a month giveaway.
You don't need to follow my blog (unless you want to) to enter. All you need to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite book is. Each month I will be featuring a different book.
This month's book will be ... drum roll please......

Now I must warn that this book is anything but easy reading and there are mixed reviews of this book. I will let you make your own decision as I am not here to start controversy.

The contest will be open till August 31st. Please remember to either link your comment with an account or leave your email (Please leave in format like this to reduce someone spamming you: email at hotmail dot com)

So again all you have to do to enter is leave a comment on what your favorite book is and a way for me to contact you if you win. I will announce the winner once the contest is over and contact them. The shipping is on me - this is a totally FREE giveaway.

So what are you waiting for? Enter The Book A Month Giveaway now!

Oooh, I haven't heard a peep about this book! I'll have to look it up now!

Also, um, I just spied my leetle blog in your blogroll there, golly gee! It truly humbles me that you did that, especially considering some of the other amazing blogs you listed there! :)

My all time favorite children's book is 'James and the Giant Peach' by Roald Dahl and my all time favorite contemporary, for adults, book is 'Lamb' by Christopher Moore.

And I totally forgot to say what my favorite book is...I was sidetracked my your blogroll list!

Eesh, that's a hard one...there are so many books I love so much. Two that stick out are 'The Final Confession of Mabel Stark' by Robert Hough, and 'Suite Francaise' by Irene Nemirovsky. Both emotionally moving and wonderful.

One of my favorite (recent) reads is 'One Day' by David Nichols. I just read it's going to be made into a film soon also . A really moving read that takes you by surprise. You will keep thinking about these characters long after you finish the last page.

I was just thinking this morning it's about time to give "Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" a re-read, it's so classic.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Never heard of this one - I'd love to try it. My all time favorite is East of Eden, but right now I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and I'm liking it so far.
